Swan Hellenic

ATOL 6294 Swan Hellenic has been perfecting the ‘Art of Discovery Travel’ since 1954 when Swan’s Travel Bureau (founded by the father of R K Swan, our current president) was approached by the Hellenic Society to organize a cruise to the Greek Islands. So successful was it, that a second Hellenic cruise took place the following year, this time accompanied by the eminent archaeologist Sir Mortimer Wheeler from whom the Wheeler Bar takes its name. Sir Mortimer went on to become Chairman of the company – and Swan Hellenic’s winning formula of effortless exploration, accompanied by distinguished Guest Speakers was born.
