For cruises sailing from the UK, there are two big news items. "Jewel of the Seas" will have a series of 12 night cruises to Scandinavia and Russia sailing from Harwich. This Radiance Class ship had it's maiden voyage just over 12 months ago, and it really is a jewel. From the 10 storey glass centrum, to the glass elevators overlooking the sea, it is a real spectacle, and with a wealth of on board facilities including a country club with golf simulator, offers a cruise to remember.
Absolutely new for 2007 "Navigator of the Seas" will weigh anchor in Southampton, sailing to Europe and the Med from April 2007. Rightly famous for the huge range of onboard activities, including a rock climbing wall, ice skating rink, and mini golf. If you want on-board action, this is the one for you. Navigator will offer short "taster cruises" for first timers, plus a range of 7 itineraries, from 2 to 14 nights, so there is something for everyone.
If you prefer to fly out to your cruise, there's even more choice.
"Legend of the Seas" will be offering 12 nights Greece, Eastern Med, Italy and Croatia fly cruises from Rome between May and September.Further afield, Ledgend Of The Seas will be sailing out of Santo Domingo, in the Dominican Republic.
Barcelona will be the start point for cruises on board "Voyager of the Seas", while "Splendour of the Seas" will be sailing from Venice to the Greek Isles and Turkey.
Finally, "Freedom of the Seas" will begin 9 night fly/cruises in the Western Caribbean.
